International Game Technology has grown its digital footprint to five US states, with its range of online gaming content able to be accessed by igaming operators across West Virginia.

This has seen IGT PlayCasino games, such as Fortune Coin, Siberian Storm, Cleopatra and Ultimate X Poker, become available for mobile and online play via approved online casino operators throughout the state.

These titles are among the wide range of the PlayDigital suite that it available to the group’s casino client based in various destinations around the world.

“Expanding IGT’s PlayCasino footprint into West Virginia presents an incredible opportunity to further our leadership in a high-growth segment of our business,” said Gil Rotem, IGT President of igaming.

“IGT has vast experience supplying compelling igaming content and platform technologies to operators worldwide. IGT PlayDigital is the top provider of igaming content in the US and we look forward to helping our customers in West Virginia maximize player engagement as the demand for digital gaming continues to grow.”

Earlier this month, IGT reaffirmed its full-year guidance estimates, as the group reflected on a “best revenue, profit, and cash flow performance in the last four years”.

This, says IGT, ensured that the group met or exceeded “target levels on strong performance across the portfolio,” which saw a fourth quarter revenue increase of 19 per cent to $1.05bn (2020: $885m) help its full-year performance reach $4.08bn, a 31 per cent uptick from $3.11bn.

On a segmented basis across the quarter, global lottery increased eight per cent year-on-year to $687m (2020: $630m), with its gaming division rising 45 per cent to $321m (2020: $222m), primarily driven by higher replacement unit sales and average selling prices.
