Pariplay ‘can’t wait to get started’ ahead of Canadian expansion

Pariplay has asserted that it is looking to “build on our success” amid a concerted effort to achieve North American growth after receiving its latest regulatory green light.

The Aspire Global aggregator and content provider states that it has taken “another major step” in its strategic expansion efforts across the Americas after being awarded with an Ontario licence.

The gaming related supplier licence will see Pariplay’s aggregation offering become available throughout the Canadian province, which it says will be done alongside “a number of major operators and partners” as soon as the market opens.

This marks the latest strand of a concerted growth effort across the wider region, with Pariplay having recently gone commercially live in Alberta as well as being awarded its West Virginia and Michigan licences after making its US debut in New Jersey over a year ago.

Adrian Bailey, Managing Director at Pariplay, said: “We are very pleased to be granted our Ontario licence, which allows us to build on our success and bring relevant and varied content to regulated markets.

“We’ve made a concerted effort to grow our reach in Canada both through signing new partners and gaining new licences, and this approach continues to generate success for us. It is an exciting time at Pariplay and we can’t wait to get started in Ontario.”

Beginning April 4, private gaming operators that have registered with the AGCO and have executed an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario can begin offering their games to players in the region.

Earlier in the week, the Responsible Gambling Council disclosed that its RG Check accreditation program had been “embedded into the requirements for all online gaming operators entering the Ontario marketplace” by the iGC.

This program, which is already utilised by land-based casinos in the region, will aim to ensure the highest standards of responsible gambling are maintained when operators enter the market.
