Caesars Entertainment has broadened the availability of its Caesars Sportsbook via a launch in Washington DC.

Labelled as the “most advanced version” of its sports wagering platform, the move witnesses a migration from the Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill app to bring the operator’s product to the district.

Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital, stated: “DC remains a special market for us following the historic opening of Caesars Sportsbook at Capital One Arena in 2021.

“This is an important step as we continue to expand our offering for sports fans. We’re ready to capitalise on our momentum with our great district partners as the sports calendar ramps up.”

Caesars’ offerings for customers in its upgraded platform will include additional ways to deposit funds, faster payouts, expanded ways to wager, thousands of additional markets, a cleaner and more user-friendly interface.

Moreover, Caesars Sportsbook bettors can now access same-game parlays, cashout functionality, live scoreboards and expanded in-play betting options, whilst also continuing to experience its integration with customer loyalty programmes via Caesars Rewards.

The launch of Caesars Sportsbook’s new offering in Washington DC builds upon market movements made by Caesars, which saw the link-up with Monumental Sports & Entertainment in May 2021 by opening the first sportsbook to operate in a US sports venue with Caesars Sportsbook at MSE’s Capital One Arena.

The two parties recently announced expansion plans for the sportsbook featuring the addition of 700 square feet of new betting space with 13 additional self-service sports betting kiosks.
