The Spanish and Portuguese markets are top priorities for FBMDS in the coming months, as the games developer looks to build on what has already been a successful 2022.

Speaking at SBC Summit Barcelona, the developer’s CEO Roberto Regianini outlined his plans for growth and reflected on a period that has seen the company open up a wealth of opportunities via partnerships with aggregators such as EveryMatrix, Soft2Bet, Playtech and Oryx Gaming

Those agreements have helped the digital systems division of land-based supplier FBM to establish itself as a strong brand in its own right, with its footprint increasingly rapidly in one much talked about region this year.

FBMDS has signed agreements to provide its games to a host of Latin American operators in recent months, including Caliente in Mexico, Amuletobet in Brazil and Olimpo.bet in Peru.

Explaining the developer’s success in the region, Regianini pointed to the importance of “knowing the behaviour of the players” in the local markets and using that information to adjust products to suit the audience.

“We have top-notch games for Latin America and we have a very reputable brand in these markets,” he added.

The company is now hoping to follow success in the Americas by strengthening its position in more markets, with two particular territories high on its hit list.

“We do three lines of products – slot games, video bingo and table games – and the company has certification to deliver games in many jurisdictions, including Spain and Portugal,” said Regianini.

“These two markets are very essential for the plans that we’ve defined and the strategic growth for the company for the next years.”

Regianini identified his team’s deep understanding of customer tastes and operator requirements across both the land-based and online sectors in Asia, Europe and Latin America as a key reason for the rapid progress made since FBM launched the standalone digital division. And he promised that they would keep working hard to create games that meet the needs of both players and casinos.

Asked what the industry can expect FBMDS to do next, the CEO replied: “Keep growing, keep giving the best service and the best product that we can, to be innovative in the markets and be a pioneer, as we were in Brazil a long time ago with the video bingo.

“There’s things that we would like to keep doing as the core business of FBMDS. Then, looking at our operators, our aggregators, our customers, our partners, we want to present (products to) the market promptly.

“That’s very, very important, for the online business is so rapid. If you don’t pay attention to what’s going on, sometimes you can lose the timing. So we are very aware of what’s going on in the markets to be able to keep our company as a good solution for the market.”
