Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati has offered a glimpse into a new sports betting space that is to be officially opened at the turn of the new year.
The Ohio property is to welcome guests into the facility’s sportsbook on January 1, 2023, when former Cincinnati Reds great Pete Rose will place the first wager.
Ahead of this date, officials at the gaming venue provided a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hard Rock Sportsbook, which was led by Property President George Goldhoff and Hall of Fame Broadcaster Marty Brennaman.
The Hard Rock Sportsbook will be located adjacent to the Hard Rock Cafe, and will feature a new lounge area, 33 betting kiosks and betting windows. Ohioans can also download and sign up now for the Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app, which will also commence operation from Sunday 1 January, 2023.
The sports betting area will officially open on this aforementioned date at 12:01am when sports betting becomes legal in the state of Ohio, when Rose will commence proceedings.
Furthermore, Goldhoff also unveiled an extended list of Cincinnati sports celebrities who will celebrate New Year’s Eve and the launch of sports betting.
This will see Rose and Brennaman joined by Olympic Gold Medalist Mary Wineberg, Former Cincinnati Reds Tom Browning and Bronson Arroyo,Cincinnati Bengals Hall of Famer Anthony Muñoz and fellow ex-Bengals Ickey Woods, Jim Breech and David Fulcher.
Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is lauded as featuring “100,000 square feet of exciting, action-packed choices,” which includes more than 1,600 slot machines, nearly 100 live table games, such as blackjack, baccarat and craps; and an electronic table games area.
