AdmiralBet eyes additional market share after Playtech poker alignment

Playtech has continued to deepen its Italian poker presence after online sports betting and igaming operator AdmiralBet became the latest addition to the group’s ipoker network.

The brand, which officially joined earlier this month, has asserted that this move represents the “latest in a series of recent additions as the group aims to heighten its share in a “key” market.

Paolo Marchi, Managing Director at AdmiralBet, said: “As a world leader in the gambling industry, and an unrivalled track record of success in poker, Playtech was a natural choice as our new network provider.

“The company’s commitment to poker is clear, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership as we build our market share in Italy.”

This latest partnership, said Playtech, falls in line with a wider strategy of growth across an array of globally regulated markets. The offering  features multiple game types and an array of table stakes and buy-ins.

AdmiralBet becomes the latest Italian addition to the Playtech poker network, with the brand following the likes of Lottomatica, which inked its own partnership with the gambling tech firm last week, as well as a Goldbet that joined earlier in the year.

“We are delighted to welcome AdmiralBet.it to the ipoker network,” stated Marat Koss, VP of Interactive Gaming at Playtech.

“The past few years have seen great changes in the poker sector, and while these have included undeniable challenges, Playtech has continued to invest in both enhancing our Poker product and extending our network.

“AdmiralBet is one of Italy’s fastest-growing Poker operators, and we are very proud to be chosen as their partner to build on this success.”
