Evolution has embarked on another US adventure after the firm continued its North American expansion via the launch of its second New Jersey live casino studio.

Marking the company’s fifth studio serving the US igaming market, Evolution’s second New Jersey studio, following its predecessor in August 2018, will now see operators gain access to more online live casino games in the state’s market.

“This is another exciting landmark for our operations in North America,” commented Jacob Claesson, Chief Executive Officer North America.

“Our aim has been simple when it comes to this market, to provide the best possible entertainment experience to the players, while giving our operators the games and tools needed to stay ahead.

“The studio was built thanks to the strong demand that we see in the state and will cater for our expansion in the years to come. It will give us the space needed to continue bringing new games to players in New Jersey.”

New content available in the New Jersey market will be Evolution’s new Football Studio, which will be the first live dealer variant of a top card game available in North America, following the first person launch of the game back in September.

Claesson continued: “More tables and games will be launching in the coming weeks and months as we continue to hire additional people, continuing to build our incredible team in North America and offer exciting new opportunities to both operators and players.”

Evolution was the first company to launch live casino to players in New Jersey, following approval from New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, and Michigan, West Virginia and Connecticut.

The launch comes a few weeks after the firm published its Q3 financial statement that saw its live casino sector jump to €310.4m from €214.5m in the same period last year.

Marking 45 per cent year-on-year growth for live casino products, this continued the vertical’s steady growth each quarter since the third quarter in 2021.

According to Evolution, the positive revenue development within live casino mainly derives from increased commission income from existing customers and, to a certain extent, from new customers.

Demand for online casino games continues to grow, partly as a result of our continuous launch of “successful new games and variations on traditional games”.
