Jelly hails Megaways licence as ‘an absolute must’ after BTG deal

Igaming developer Jelly has struck a deal with Big Time Gaming to gain the rights to create its own series of Megaways slot titles.

Lauding the mechanic as ‘an absolute must’ for game studios, Jelly will now be able to provide its affiliated operators with a range of Megaways slots that are already planned for release.

Victoria Newbolt, Marketing Lead at Jelly, commented: “Megaways is an absolute must for any game developer, and Jelly is thrilled to have secured a licence from Big Time Gaming.”

Since its inception, Megaways has dominated the slot industry as BTG has formed a number of alliances with slot providers around the world, allowing them to provide sufficient licensing to take advantage of Megaways’ fan base.

Upon receiving this licensing, Jelly has announced the launch of its debut Megaways release, showcasing symbol removals, free spins and multipliers in Fury of Hyde Megaways.

Newbolt added: “We have some incredible Megaways slots in the works that’ll leverage the hugely popular mechanic but with our unique twist to ensure Jelly’s Megaways titles stand out in any operator game lobby.

“This starts with Fury of Hyde Megaways, the first in our Curious Cases series. This is a highly volatile slot that promises to put players on the edge of their seats with every spin.”

Other slot developers to have utilised the Megaways mechanic include Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger and Kalamba Games, with all three having already released Megaways slot titles in 2023.
