Affinity Interactive to sell Nevada’s Rail City Casino to Truckee Gaming

Truckee Gaming has added to the group’s Nevada-based network after detailing the addition of Rail City Casino from Affinity Interactive for an undisclosed amount.

After announcing that affiliates of AI has entered into a definitive divestment agreement, the omni-channel gaming firm said that it plans to utilise the funds gained to invest in other opportunities that align with its core business and growth strategy.

“As part of the Affinity Interactive family, we expanded our offerings and capabilities, allowing us to continuously enhance the Rail City experience for our valued customers and gaming enthusiasts,” said Andrei Scrivens, Chief Executive Officer of Affinity Interactive.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, with it expected that the purchase will be finalised before the end of the current year, subject to regulatory approval and the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Located in Sparks, Nevada, Rail City Casino features approximately 24,000 square feet of gaming space. The property’s casino floor operates nearly 415 slot machines and a keno lounge, with dining options including an Ale House American Café and buffet.

Truckee Gaming is a Reno, Nevada, based casino company that owns and operates Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort in Verdi, Gold Ranch Casino in Dayton, Club Fortune Casino in Henderson and three Pioneer Crossing Casinos located in Dayton, Fernley, and Yerington.
