Realistic Games has made its maiden move into the Romanian online gambling market after the igaming content developer struck an alliance with Superbet.

Under the terms of the alliance, Realistic will take “an initial batch of fan-favourite titles” live in the market for the first time following the certification of 52 of its titles last year.

The country’s regulator, ONJN, has initially approved 15 of the studio’s games for use in the roll-out with the gambling firm, including recent releases Book of Charms, Gorilla Riches and table games such as European Roulette.

“For us here at Superbet, having a flourishing exclusive games offer is a strategic must,” stated Mark Flood, Gaming Director at Superbet.

“We want to offer a great variety of slots, and to remain the first choice for Romanian players who want a unique and responsible gaming experience, with a trustworthy casino.

“We are delighted to announce the debut of our Realistic Games partnership and we are happy to see that its games, apart from being fun, are a key component in our responsible gaming strategy.”

The supplier has hailed the accreditation as coming in “one of Europe’s most buoyant markets,” with this latest deal designed to support the group’s wider goals of global expansion.

Amy Brewis, Account Manager at Realistic Games, added: “Expanding into new markets is a key component of our growth aims throughout the year and we are thrilled to have our games available in Romania for the first time via an established and respected operator like Superbet.

“We are excited to see players’ reception to our titles as we continue to expand our reach across the region post-debut.”
