Betsson Group has been awarded operator and supplier licences for Ontario, launching its online casino and sports betting brand Betsafe in the Canadian province’s regulated market.

With the licences, Betsafe’s B2C offering has been launched, while it can also offer its sportsbook to other operators on a B2B basis.

Ontarians can access Betsafe’s localised product offering via the Strive Gaming platform, which is 40 per cent owned by Betsson.

Betsafe in Ontario will feature thousands of games, including online slots, blackjack, roulette and other table game variations, live casino and jackpots.

The brand also has a sportsbook with wagering options including football, basketball, tennis, snooker, golf and darts across a multitude of betting markets. There is also an opportunity to view live matches.

Ontarians can access Betsafe products via Betsson’s native apps, which feature a variety of payment options.

Betsafe has been fully legalised and managed by the Malta Gaming Authority for more than 15 years.
