PENN Entertainment boosts property connectivity with Tillman Digital Cities

PENN Entertainment is partnering with connectivity infrastructure and solutions provider Tillman Digital Cities to boost property LTE and 5G cellular coverage and capacity.

National PENN casinos, hotels and gaming properties will be covered under the deal, with customer cellular voice and data services being enhanced by TDC’s SOLiD ALLIANCE 5G distributed antenna system platform.

Initially rolled out at Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas and Argosy Riverside Casino in Riverside, Missouri, TDC’s solution will provide guests with wireless connectivity for 3C (cordless, cashless and contactless) igaming and sports betting.

The network will support all mobile operators as well as the national public safety network FirstNet.
