Gaming Innovation Group has extended its partnership with Betsson as the collaborative companies take online casino brand Rizk live in Germany.
While Betsson initially acquired operations of the Zecure brand for €33m in 2020, that deal saw Betsson gain control over GiG’s B2C brands for a minimum of 30 months. This partnership was then extended in February 2022 to include Risk, Guts, Kaboo and Thrills.
Under the terms of the extension, the collaboration has now launched Rizk under the guidelines of Germany’s updated regulatory framework led by the Gemeinsamen Glücksspielbehörde der Länder.

Betsson and GiG have continued to bolster the presence of their collaborative efforts in a host of regulated markets, with the brands now live in nine regulated markets across Europe and Latin America.

Meanwhile, Betsson Group just celebrated its latest acquisition to take control of Belgian operator betFIRST, announced in conjunction with a partnership to launch an online casino service in the country via Groupe Partouche.
