SlotBeats steps into The Cage to hand Nolimit City Slot of the Week

Nolimit City has organised a tournament of cage fighting clashes with its latest slot The Cage, which received SlotBeatsSlot of the Week award after seeing players take on a roster of ruthless wrestlers, kickboxers, Jiu-Jitsu fighters and more.

Taking place inside the Octagon, this slot uses a seven-reel board that has a row set up of 3-4-3-4-3-4-3. While cascading wins cause symbols to fall not only down, but also to the left, the game offers up to 5,184-ways to win with a maximum win of x25,000 the player’s bet.

Per Lindheimer, Head of Product at Nolimit City, said: “The raw energy and anticipation of the fight ring were a huge inspiration for this high-intensity and highly volatile slot game. Step into The Cage – but just know you can’t become the GOAT without some bloody fists and a couple of black eyes along the way.“

Throughout the game, which uses an RTP of 96.05 per cent, landing winning combinations will cause the winning symbols to explode and disappear from the reel set, making way for new symbols to drop in.

However, because of the shape of the reel set, symbols can fall not only downwards, but to the side as well, falling to the left in any available spaces.

Five cage fighters depict the high value symbols, known as ‘Big Fatty’, ‘Iron Jaw’, ‘One Glove Man’, ‘The Constrictor’ and ‘Little Dragon’. If the right number of matching combinations appear at once, these symbols can offer between x0.5 and x4 the player’s bet.

Wild xBomb symbols can also drop into play, exploding to remove other symbols from the reels when they contribute to a win. These wilds substitute for all symbols other than the ‘tile fight’ scatters.

Landing three, four, five or six identical symbols in a diagonal combination across the reels triggers the roundhouse kick feature, respectively awarding one, two, three or four wild explosions.

Landing three or more ‘title fight’ scatters on the same spin will trigger the title fight free spins game mode.

For these fight free spins, players are taken to a special nine-reel board, with a 3-3-3-2-2-2-3-3-3 row set up and with paylines working both ways. The free spins feature is progressive, showcasing fights against each high value cage fighter character.

The game mode allows uppercut symbols to drop into play, which will take one health point from the fighter the player is currently facing. Each time the player beats the fighter, they will receive a number of free spins while gaining an enhancement for the next bout.

Once beating four fighters, players will come up against ‘Little Dragon’. In this game mode, uppercut symbols are no longer available as players can only defeat the fighter by obtaining the game’s highest payout of x25,000 for the entirety of the title fight free spins.
