A pair of developments have been disclosed by Auckland-based casino and entertainment operator SkyCity, which first saw Sue Suckling announce an intention to retire from the company’s board. This is subject to a replacement non-executive director being appointed.

In addition, Donna Cooper’s appointment to the board has been formalised following the receipt of regulatory approvals.

However, in a social media post, she did note that “I mean to continue building my career in this dynamic industry”, building on more than 15 years of experience that has also been gained courtesy of roles at the likes of Gamesys and the Canadian Gaming Association.

“To my Kindred colleagues – especially Manuel Stan and my fellow management and NA colleagues – thank you for two wonderful years,” she wrote.

“It was an honour to be part of the first group of operators who launched in Ontario on day one, and to work with all of you to try to make the Unibet brand as successful as possible.”
