Mental health service provider Kindbridge Behavioral Health has partnered with wagering monitoring service US Integrity and ProhiBet to help support mental health initiatives.

ProhiBet is a joint venture between USI and compliance technology firm Odds On Compliance, helping to safeguard sports integrity by playing a role in “preventing specific individuals such as athletes, coaches, league officials, and administration from engaging in prohibited sports wagering”.

The partnership between Kindbridge and USI will elevate ProhiBet by “creating a direct avenue” to mental health services for professional and student-athletes.

“Aligning with US Integrity is a pivotal move for Kindbridge,” commented Daniel Umfleet, Founder & CEO of Kindbridge Behavioral Health.

“Together, we aim to seamlessly integrate integrity and accessibility to mental health services, setting a new standard in scale and support. Our specialised service is designed to address mental health issues commonly faced by collegiate and professional athletes, including problems related to gambling.”

Individuals who have been identified as at-risk by ProhiBet will be given extended access to Kindbridge’s telehealth platform, which provides “holistic care for behavioural addictions” through mental health services, clinical research, and technology.

Matthew Holt, CEO and Co-Founder of US Integrity, added: “This partnership truly completes the evolution of a comprehensive athlete wrap-around service for teams and leagues.

“The amalgamation of betting monitoring services, education, and streamlined access to care for athletes represents a monumental stride toward ensuring the enduring integrity of sports nationwide.”
