As the firm officially launched its sports infotainment in Italy, has landed a key partnership with Francesco Totti. 

The Roma icon has become an ambassador with a focus on delivering exclusive content, interviews, news and highlights across various sporting disciplines.

Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer of Betsson Group, commented: “Italy holds significant importance for Betsson, and we are delighted to partner with Francesco Totti, a figure synonymous with excellence in Italian football.

It was also announced last week that Betsson had officially launched in Italy with its sports betting offering.

Described as a ‘strategic move’, the Swedish operator looked to further demonstrate its expansion into new markets which has accelerated across multiple different regions. 

Hartvig also described how the country has grown significantly in importance for the Betsson AB-owned brand.
