IGT has handed a promotion to Nick Khin, with the former Chief Operating Officer being appointed as President of Global Gaming for the global igaming supplier.
Khin has served the company under the roles of COO and Senior Vice President of the Global Games Unit since 2015, bringing a wealth of experience within the gaming provider to the new role.
Under his role as President of Global Gaming, Khin will be responsible for managing all assets within the business unit, including studios, manufacturing and services, technology, games and hardware, sales and systems.
Based in Las Vegas, Khin will report to CEO Vince Sadusky, who responded to the appointment by stating: “Nick is the obvious choice to lead IGT Global Gaming. Under his leadership, IGT is consistently releasing top games and strengthening its performance in every game category.
“Nick’s knowledge, leadership, and passion have earned him the respect of colleagues throughout our industry.”
IGT announced near the end of last month that Apollo Global had completed the acquisition of its Gaming & Digital business for a cash offer of $4.05bn.
As a result of the acquisition, the global gaming supplier reported in its H1 financial results that it will withdraw its previously provided full-year financial outlook and report Gaming & Digital results as discontinued operations from Q3 2024.
IGT also expects “to provide an outlook for full year 2024 continuing operations once the preparation of the discontinued operations reporting is complete”.
