Personalisation was a key theme throughout the three days of SBC Summit Lisbon and that was no different for Campeón Gaming.
Speaking to Danny Lee, the group’s CCO, George Merodoulakis, outlined Campeón’s own journey towards personalisation for players.
“It starts from customisation, then localisation and then personalisation,” he explained.
“AI tools and CRM tools that we have in place are helping us to track customer preferences and adjust our offerings, whether it’s content or marketing. Our aim is to be the best of the crop out there when it comes down to personalisation.
Merodoulakis added that he believes AI will play a “significant role” in the development of the igaming industry as it can help operators “stay ahead of player needs and cater for them” which ensures that “players get what they want when they want it”.
Elsewhere in the interview, filmed at SBC Summit Lisbon, Merodoulakis also spoke about some of Campeón’s plans for the future and the products that it is working on.
He said: “We are working on different fronts content-wise, feature-wise and data-tracking-wise.
“With regards to content, we are embracing all new trends, so crash games and new table games are coming through the pipeline. [Also], new features on the website and technology, such as Buy Bonus, are coming through and we are bringing new in-play functionality.
“With regards to innovation, we are embracing it and we’re all for it, trying to address customer needs faster than they arise.”
A growing trend in the industry is crypto casinos and Merodoulakis confirmed that Campeón Gaming has its own potential plans to develop a crypto casino, however, he was unable to provide a timeframe of when he expects it to be launched on Campeón’s platform.
