Drake has deleted his Kick account, bringing an end to his live gambling streams on crypto casino Stake after venting anger at the platform’s owners.

Drake signed a deal with the online casino operator in 2022 worth a reported $100 million a year. However, the partnership now appears to be over as the rapper ranted about Stake co-founders Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani.

Commenting on fellow Stake endorser Trainwreck’s Kick stream, Drake wrote: “Eddie been dissing the owls f**k Eddie… F**k this goof… W’s for my brother TRAIN tonight… They want smoke with ovo so its uppppppp…MAX them and have a great stream… We built this sh**… And they treat us like sh** still.”

Drake co-founded October’s Very Own (OVO), which is active in a range of markets, including the record label OVO Sound and clothing brand.

He went on to call Craven a snake and has subsequently deleted his Kick account. Co-streamer Adin Ross confirmed that Drake has no intention of doing further streams.

Drake Racked up Gambling Losses on Platform

There is no further information on the reason for the relationship breakdown between Drake and Stake. The Canadian previously revealed he had racked up huge losses on the gambling platform.

In livestreams playing casino games on the site, which is unlicensed in the US, Drake lost as much as $20 million in a session. The suggestion has always been that the losses may not have been genuine, given Drake is paid to promote the company.

However, comments in June, after revealing he had lost more than $8 million in a month of sports betting, suggest he may have been gambling away his own money.

Drake posted the losses on Instagram and commented: “Gotta share the other side of gambling… Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max these guys max once a week.”

Trainwreck also Questions Future With Stake

Fellow streamer Trainwreck is also reportedly questioning his future with Stake. The livestreamer similarly lost massive amounts gambling on the platform. Last month, he said he would take a break from gambling after losing $19.5 million over five streaming sessions.

However, he quickly returned to playing and followed the losses by breaking the record for the largest slot win in history at $37.5 million. That record has since been surpassed by another streamer, Roshtein, who won $45.5 million.

Trainwreck questioned whether the win was genuine and accused Stake of being complicit in the alleged payout fraud. He commented: “Sad stake is complicit in the fraudulent activity. Really makes me question a lot and contemplate my future with Stake.”

Responding to Drake’s comments on his stream, Trainwreck said: “Believe me, however you feel, I feel too. I put in everything. I put in my life, my health, my safety. I put in everything.”

“Before I touched them, it’s not like they came live as a casino and then coincidentally I joined, they’d been around for five years before me, and they were nowhere relative to real success. Then, I joined, and instantly they became number one.”

He went on to suggest he may not have any official deal with the platform, stating: “I should have definitely had contracts in place.”
