Livestreamer N3on has joined Iggy Azalea as a partner in the singer’s crypto casino venture, Motherland. Azalea launched the online casino last year, which operates under a license issued by the Anjouan (Comoros Islands) authorities.

A press release describes the platform as “the sexiest and most entertainment-rich casino on the Internet, blending gambling, livestreaming, celebrity appearances, and community into a one-of-a-kind destination.”

It marks a change from the usual celebrity partnerships, such as Drake’s collaboration with Stake or Snoop Dogg’s promotion of Roobet. Instead of merely promoting the platform, N3on joins Azalea as a co-owner.

The 21-year-old has amassed 1.5 million followers on Instagram, and hundreds of thousands of followers on Kick and Twitch, where he livestreams.

On the partnership, he commented: “Joining Iggy as a co-owner of MOTHERLAND is more than just a business move, it’s about shaping the future of gaming culture. I’ve always believed the worlds of streaming, crypto, and entertainment were destined to collide, and MOTHERLAND is proof of that. Together, we’re building a casino that’s not only fun, but one that actually reflects the community and energy of the culture we live in.”

Motherland Set to Rival Stake?

N3on, like Drake, has frequently appeared on Kick livestreams, the platform owned by Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani, who also own Stake.

Drake has publicly come out against Craven and Tehrani recently and closed his Kick account, saying he will no longer stream live gambling sessions. He does, however, continue to gamble on the platform, and lost $300,000 after betting on Jannik Sinner to win the US Open last week.

Drake frequently teamed up with Adin Ross on his Kick livestreams, which N3on has also done. The partnership with Azalea in Motherland puts him in direct opposition with the Kick and Stake owners.

Azalea, who founded the company, frequently promotes it through her own streams, and it would be expected that N3on will do the same. But, it is questionable whether the Stake owners would be happy to see him promote Motherland in his Kick streams.

On signing up N3on, she stated: “N3on’s partnership marks an incredible next chapter for MOTHERLAND. His influence and connection to the gaming community perfectly complement the bold, entertainment-first vision that has fueled this brand since day one.”

Livestream Features Individuals Arrested for Illegal Gambling

N3on has built a following through controversial streams that have featured himself or others being arrested live on air. A stream with Azalea last month showed men with vests marked “police” arresting members of their crew for “illegal gambling.”

There have been questions raised as to whether the arrests were a stunt. In the video, Azalea can be seen asking if it is a joke or real, and says the man with the police vest “kinda looks like a stripper.”

Last year, N3on was handcuffed on a livestream with friends after police responded to reports of domestic violence. This was apparently a prank call, but N3on said the incident caused his filming license to be revoked. He also said that he is now banned from filming in Los Angeles.

With an offshore gambling license, Motherland may also expect some legal challenges. Stake has been sued in multiple states across the US over claims that it offers illegal gambling, most recently in California. The state is on the verge of explicitly banning sweepstakes casinos, and many game providers have pulled out of Stake.

Operating exclusively in cryptocurrencies, Motherland is not directly targeted by the bill, but is also unlicensed in the US. If the partnership between N3on and Azalea is successful, we may see more arrests on camera.
