After tonight’s Monday Night Football showdown featuring the Eagles and Packers at Lambeau Field, we’ll officially be halfway through the regular season.
Philadelphia (6-2 SU, 5-3 ATS) and Green Bay (5-2-1 SU, 3-5 ATS) are two of the NFC’s heavyweight teams, but the Packers are coming off a bad loss to the Panthers. Can they rebound against the defending Super Bowl champs tonight?
DraftKings is dealing Green Bay as a 1.5-point home favorite with a total of 46.5. We’ll be playing this game on the moneyline with the Eagles (-108) and Packers (-112), with the two teams nearly even.
Best Monday Night Football Bet on the Moneyline
Eagles (-108)
It’s difficult to rid the memory of last week’s loss to the Panthers. Carolina imposed its will on both sides of the ball, and Jordan Love threw some questionable passes into double coverage. His decision-making will have to be on point tonight for the Packers to prevail against Jalen Hurts & company.
Saquon Barkley (groin) and AJ Brown (hamstring) both had full practices on Friday and will be active tonight. Both players benefited from Philly’s bye week after a 28-22 win against Minnesota.
The Eagles also have some impressive ATS trends heading into MNF:
- 4-1 ATS in last five games vs. Packers
- 10-4 ATS in last 14 games
- 3-0 as an underdog ATS last season (have been a favorite in every game this season)
- OVER has hit five of last six games
Philadelphia defeated Green Bay 22-10 in the Wildcard round of last year’s playoffs. The Eagles started the 2024 season with a 34-29 win over the Packers in Brazil.
The Packers suffered a serious setback last week when TE Tucker Kraft (ACL) was lost for the season. OT Zach Tom, a key piece on the offensive line, is also questionable with a back injury.
Best Player Prop for Philadelphia Eagles
AJ Brown OVER 56.5 Receiving Yards (-112 at FanDuel)
Brown found his stride last time out versus the Vikings. He had four catches on six targets for a season-high 121 yards and two TDs. He also torched the Packers for five catches, 119 yards, and a TD the last time these two teams met in the regular season.
With his hamstring no longer an issue, expect Brown to revert to his usual stellar form.
Best Player Prop for Green Bay Packers
Jordan Love UNDER 1.5 Passing TDs (-138 at FanDuel)
Love faces a Philadelphia defense that has yielded just eight passing TDs on the season. That’s one per game, and ties Philly for the third-best mark in the NFL.
Love failed to throw a TD pass against Carolina, and he’s been held under 1.5 passing TDs in three of his last four games. Green Bay has leaned on the running game in the red zone, too. RB Josh Jacobs has 10 rushing scores to rank second in the NFL behind only Indy’s Jonathon Taylor (15).
There’s some added juice here, but expect Love to go UNDER this total again.
