Gone are the days when you have to use a random draw to get your numbers for Super Bowl Squares. There’s nothing more deflating than drawing, say, 5-5, a combination that’s never hit for the final score of a Super Bowl.

DraftKings and Circa offer fixed-odds contests that allow you to choose your own combination of numbers and place prop bets on them. The squares with the lowest odds indicate the numbers with the highest probability of hitting.

Winning Squares in Last 10 Super Bowls

Here are the winning squares for Super Bowls over the last decade: 0-2, 5-2, 8-5, 3-0, 1-9, 1-1, 3-3, 1-3, 4-8, 4-0.

Philadelphia’s 40-22 victory over Kansas City in Super Bowl 59 made 0-2 the winning combination last year. That square paid out at +8000 (or 80-1) at Circa. A $10 bet returned $800 in profit and your stake back.

Kansas City’s 25-22 OT victory over San Francisco in Super Bowl 58 created an interesting scenario. The game was tied 19-19 at the end of regulation due to a missed extra point, with 9-9 being honored as the winning score at DraftKings. Always check the house rules for any contest before you enter, as others might include overtime. The 9-9 combination is priced at +10000 (or 100-1) for Super Bowl 60.

The other statistical oddity from that game was 2, 5, and 9 figuring into the final score(s). Those numbers are the least likely to hit, with 0, 3, and 7 the most likely. It is highly unusual not to see a 7 as part of the winning combination over the last 10 Super Bowls.

Going deeper, and if you’re not familiar with a scorigami, it’s a final score that has never happened before in NFL history. The most recent scorigami in a Super Bowl occurred when Seattle won its first (and only) title in 2014. Another quirk? The Broncos were involved in all three Super Bowl scorigamis.

  • Super Bowl 21 (1987): New York Giants 39, Denver Broncos 20
  • Super Bowl 24 (1990): San Francisco 49ers 55, Denver Broncos 10
  • Super Bowl 48 (2014): Seattle Seahawks 43, Denver Broncos 8

Enjoy Super Bowl 60, and good luck with all of your bets!
