Gaming technology giant NetEnt has appointed Lars Johansson as its interim chief financial officer.
The CFO role at NetEnt has been vacant since Therese Hillman was appointed Group chief executive officer on May 22. Johansson takes up his position of interim CFO of NetEnt with immediate effect, from September 3.
In a short statement, NetEnt said Johansson has more than 30 years of experience from numerous management positions in various sectors, in both public and private companies – most recently from Ratos AB – where he held the position as senior investment director and prior to that as acting CEO.
Hillman took over from longstanding predecessor Per Eriksson, who was sacked earlier in the year as questions arose over NetEnt’s faltering performance in 2017.
Last month, Hillman told CasinoBeats it was time for NetEnt “to be humble”.
