Malta-based casino content provider Pragmatic Play has agreed a deal with leading Italian platform provider Microgame.
This agreement sees the provider’s full portfolio of content made available to Microgame’s extensive portfolio of operator partners in the country, who will now offer players Pragmatic Play titles including recent release Da Vinci’s Treasure and the ever-popular Wolf Gold.
The provider has now seen its gaming content go live with more than 10 operators in the country in 2018 alone, underlining Pragmatic Play’s growth and the demand for its games in Italy’s regulated market.
Melissa Summerfield, chief commercial officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “We are delighted to have agreed a deal with Microgame, an extremely well established and highly regarded provider in an exciting market.
“Cementing our position as a premium provider in regulated markets is central to our strategy, and this agreement is another step towards our ambitions as we grow our mobile-focused, client-centric delivery.”
Marco Castaldo, managing director at Microgame, added: “We are proud to be hosting Pragmatic Play’s diverse library of content, and we know that our partners will benefit from the addition of their games.
“Pragmatic Play is renowned for its immersive, innovative content, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
The progress Pragmatic has made in the Italian market in recent months has seen its games go live with OIA Services, Betsson’s StarCasino and Kindred’s numerous Italian brands.
The provider also recently entered into the live casino market via its acquisition of Extreme Live Gaming from Novomatic, an agreement that expanded a product portfolio that already included video slots, scratchcards and bingo.
