ICE 2018

With the latest edition of gaming’s London showpiece now less than a week away, CasinoBeats is rounding up the latest news and announcements relating to ICE 2019

Upping the ante

Developer EvenBet Gaming will be showing off its diverse poker portfolio in London next week, at stand S3-200. Recent additions to the EvenBet portfolio include a redesigned Multi Game format which delivers a deeper dive for player engagement, alongside a new Mini Games feature with “snackable” slots and games that fill in the natural breaks in the bet-check-raise cycle.

Meanwhile, in Asia, EvenBet’s new mobile Poker Clubs app has been surfing the soaring smartphone adoption rates for gaming in many Asian markets, allowing club managers to host run private poker communities with their own tournaments and tables for the first time.

Danger, danger – high Voltage

OK, technically an LAC story but there’s always one, right? Anyway, this edition of the affiliate get-together sees Volt Casino electrocuting attendees (their words, not ours).

“Bringing Volt-styled fun to the stand, the team will be electrocuting attendees and giving away dozens of prizes. Swing by and see the team at Volt Casino at Stand H13 to check out their electric chair and put your hand in for one of the many prizes on offer.” Told you.

Added Sprinkle

Evoplay Entertainment will be showing off its second fully 3D/VR in-browser enabled slot at ICE 2019, at stand N7-350.

The game, Sprinkle, takes players on a VR-enhanced, 3D-dive into a “psychedelic world of luminescent mushrooms, enveloped by an accompanying soundtrack of dreamy music serving to enhance the unique gaming experience even more.” Groovy.

Hello Helio

Malta-based provider Helio Gaming debuted its Lotto Hero product at ICE last year and has since signed up a number of partners in Europe and Africa – and has also added a range of complementary products that will appeal to existing lottery brands looking to diversify their portfolio, or sportsbooks and casinos hoping to offer their customers a new experience.

As CEO Richard Mifsud puts it, the Helio products can offer “huge opportunities for casino and sportsbook brands”. Find out all about it at N7-433 in London next week.

QTech on the march

Asian distributor QTech Games will be on the ground at ICE, telling everyone they meet about their QT Play software and a new Campaign Tool that allows operators to run campaigns across the full QTech portfolio.

Staffan Cnattingius, QTech CCO, said: “It’s an exciting time for us to be returning to ICE, the industry’s biggest igaming conference. With so much cutting-edge tech and innovation under our belt in 2018, coupled to many exciting new deals with both established and rising stars, we can now look forward to the coming year.”
