“From the attendees to speakers, they reliably hit the mark with a clear understanding of current issues and trends”

With a little under two months to go until the second edition of CasinoBeats Malta gets underway, we are introducing the first in a number of track previews as slots come under the spotlight.

Delving into a variety of key discussions throughout the day, Slots 2020 will be chaired by Karolina Pelc, strategic advisor at Basic Strategy, and takes place on day one (Wednesday 25 March) alongside Regulation and Compliance and the KPMG Investor Forum.

Among the topics to be explored throughout the day are:

  • Operators and Innovation
  • Platforms for Success
  • Gamification
  • Inside Slots: RTP
  • Expert Insight: Acquisition and Personalisation
  • Leaders Panel

Simon Hammon, chief product officer at Relax Gaming, who participated at CasinoBeats’ inaugural event on the island, commented: “CasinoBeats and SBC events are always high-value. From the attendees to speakers, they reliably hit the mark with a clear understanding of current issues and trends. I’m looking forward to contributing again at the slot focus panel at this year’s CB Malta.

“As always, the agenda is shaping up to be interesting and I’m sure the event is going to be even more insightful than the last. The panel discussion aside, Relax Gaming had a phenomenal 2019 thanks to an overwhelmingly positive response from the market.

“I’m looking forward to showcasing our 2020 roadmap for aggregated and proprietary content as we continue to gain traction in this space, something for which we have a lot to thank our valued partners.”

The second edition of CasinoBeats Malta will be significantly larger than the 2019 debut, welcoming up to 1,500 delegates to the InterContinental Malta on March 24-26, and offering delegates unparalleled networking opportunities alongside six tracks of conference content.

Cristiano Blanco, head of gaming at Kindred Group, said ahead of participating in the day’s second panel session: “The gaming industry is going through challenging, unexpected and exciting times. New regulations bring opportunities but delivery delays and strong headaches, as well.

“I am happy to be part of CasinoBeats Malta because it is one of the rare occasions to have together all the igaming decision-makers, to have a feel of the market from the inside and seriously think about the future of our industry, putting aside all the issues that the competition brings with it. I will do my part.”

Confirmed speakers for CasinoBeats Malta include James Ford, head of casino at LeoVegas, Alexander Stevendahl, CEO of Videoslots, Jan Jones Blackhurst, board director at Caesars Entertainment, Cristiano Blanco, head of gaming at Kindred, Jacqui Gatt, head of casino at Mr Green, Alexander Martin, CEO of SKS365, and Petra Zackrisson, CCDO of Stoiximan/Betano.

Stewart Darkin, managing director of CasinoBeats, stated: “Through our events in both London and Malta, we have learned that the online casino industry retains a clear focus on product development and innovation. Indeed, the slots sector is more productive – and more competitive – than ever.

“In direct response, we have dedicated a full track of content to slots at CasinoBeats Malta. Covering topics including gamification, platforms and RTP, the content will appeal to operators, suppliers and affiliates alike. The response has been excellent, with a number of high-profile speakers already secured for what promises to be an engaging and thought-provoking track.”

CasinoBeats Malta (March 24-26, 2020) will bring together 1,500 senior-level attendees from operators, suppliers, affiliates and regulators, as well as 130 leading industry speakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the online casino sector.
