From experiencing the wild west to futuristic landscapes, Las Vegas to Ancient Egypt, solving crimes in Miami with Horatio Caine, discovering whodunnit via Cluedo Cash Mystery, and pimping your ride, it certainly was a Wednesday out of the ordinary this week.
You would be forgiven for thinking this is a rather elaborate lockdown checklist, but it merely describes a smattering of what was on offer during the inaugural CasinoBeats Slots Festival.
As slot machines pinged, reels began their endless revolutions, the bright lights shimmered, a multitude of musical melodies roared into action, and the day began.
Boasting a selection of more than 100 slots, with an impressive 13 unreleased titles available for visitors to play, for free, for the first time, we also had Megaways, Megaclusters, Infinity Reels, Splitz and much much more.
Throw in a number of tournaments, live streams galore, and a keynote from Big Time Gaming supremo Nik Robinson, and what do you have? A stay-at-home one-day not-to-miss extravaganza that, if you weren’t attending, you should be regretting.
The Groove Gaming, BGaming, Big Time Gaming and Funfair Games sponsored event, aimed to showcase that, sometimes, online really is the best environment for showcasing products, by giving gaming professionals the chance to play igaming titles from the convenient setting of their own desks.
“We couldn’t be happier with how the first ever Slots Festival has gone. The range and profile of the developers showing their games and the quality of visitors to the site has proved to be a winning combination,” Stewart Darkin, managing director of CasinoBeats, reflected.
“I’m especially pleased with the fact we have showcased so many new titles, including some of the most anticipated releases of the next few months. Add in a fantastic keynote from Nik Robinson and a live stream from Kim Hultman, and all in all, we have an excellent launchpad for further Festivals.”
Replicating the look and functionality of an online casino, operators, affiliates and a range of gaming professionals were given the chance to escape from the norm, and what has been a year to forget for many reasons, all without leaving their (home) office.
“An interactive virtual environment such as CasinoBeats Slots Festival is an exciting and innovative concept, and a magnificent opportunity to connect with leading online gaming companies and for them to try out the latest slot launches,” testified MGA Games, who featured 80s and 90s nostalgia, Popeye and Samantha Fox as part of their Slots Fest showcase.
The new games available to play on the day included Cyberslots Megaclusters by Big Time Gaming via SG Digital, Sadie Swift: Guns’n Glyphs by Kalamba Games, Syncronite by Yggdrasil via Oryx Gaming, Gamomat’s Crystal Strike, and Book of Ultimate Infinity by Scientific Games.
“We’re really excited to be unveiling Book of Ultimate Infinity to the industry, and SBC’s new CasinoBeats Slots Festival presents the perfect opportunity for us to showcase the latest release from our in-house game studio,” noted Rob Procter, content specialist director of digital at the latter.
Originally hosted on Wednesday 18 November, should your appetite have been sufficiently whet you can still get in on the action, but for one more day only, register for free to gain a first opportunity to try out some of 2021’s hit titles.
“While we’re all working remotely, this Slots Festival is a fantastic opportunity to see the new and innovative ideas coming out of the market.
“Content developers are doing some great things in the slot space, and it’ll be very insightful for us to see these products demonstrated first hand,” added FunFair Games, the FunFair Technologies subsidiary which recently debuted as a standalone provider.
The CasinoBeats Slots Festival 2021 will see Groove Gaming as the Platinum Sponsor on February 3, May 4, July 20 and November 18.
Gaming professionals, such as members of operators’ casino teams, slots and casino affiliates, content aggregators, and igaming industry media, can still access the Slots Fest portal. Register for the CasinoBeats Slots Festival for free by clicking here.
