Gaming Innovation Group has inked an agreement with Malta-based online casino operator Avento regarding its automated marketing compliance screening tool, GiG Comply.

The proprietary self-service technology is a compliance monitoring tool that allows its users to automate compliance checks, with a focus on consistency and ease of use.

GiG Comply allows for the creation of checks for various regulations and requirements across all jurisdictions on any given website.

Christine Bonaci, senior legal and compliance officer from Avento, said of the agreement: “Being able to ensure brand security, player safety and at the same time abiding the different regulations has never been more important and we are sure that partnering up with GiG Comply will help make our work process easier.”

GiG Comply scans and analyses thousands of web pages to ensure affiliates continue to meet advertising regulations, as well as the standards set out by the operator.

The technology also provides detailed reports, including links, brand mentions and images, keeping the operator up to date on the content delivered to their affiliates’ audiences.

Ben Clemes, chief commercial officer at GiG, added: “We are very happy to have signed Avento Group to our marketing compliance tool GiG Comply. It is always a proud moment when a client like Avento Group choose our compliance solution to help ensure that they continue to stay at the forefront of responsible gaming.”

GiG recently enhanced the capabilities of GiG Comply by adding a new language detection feature, which allows operators to ensure that they are compliant with regulatory guidelines in particular markets by identifying which language a website is using to promote their brand.
