EGT Interactive has deepened its presence in the German igaming market after strengthening its collaboration with long-term partner Entain, formerly GVC Holdings.

Lauded as an “outstanding achievement” by the online casino software solutions developer, the extended deal with the global gaming and betting group builds upon prior link-ups secured in Belgium and Georgia.

Under the partnership terms, the provider’s content suite will be available on the seven Entain brands of bwin.de, bpremium.de, slotclub.de, sportingbet.de, partyslots.de, partypoker.de and ladbrokes.de.

The online gambling operator’s Germany-based players will subsequently gain access to a multitude of slots titles, which EGT states are in-line with all of the transitional requirements in preparation for the regulation of the territory later this year.

Some of those games already live are Age of Troy, Dice & Roll, Rise of Ra, Zodiac Wheel, and Burning Hot, with the firm’s wider portfolio including offerings such as Shining Crown, Amazons’ Battle, Book of Magic and many more.

Todor Zahariev, managing director of EGT Interactive, commented: “We are delighted to launch our classic casino games in Germany through such a renowned operator as Entain. This deal enhances our commercial footprint and increases our reach. We look forward to extending this partnership even further into more markets.”

Germany will officially welcome new legislation in July 2021, after which the relevant licences can be issued. In the meantime, a policy of transitional tolerance has been in place since October, whereby operators can engage with the market provided they adopt the new regulatory measures. Those that ignore the new regulations may be excluded from the future official licensing procedure.
