The CasinoBeats Innovation in Slots series continues on Wednesday 24 March with the Slots Abuse Masterclass, delivered by the team at Lovelace Consultancy.

The session will see experts from the bonusing risk management consultancy detail the dangers to online casino operators of ‘exploitable slots’, which are also known as ‘loophole slots’.

Ozric Vondervelden, one of Lovelace Consultancy’s specialists, will outline why these particular games are targeted by unscrupulous affiliates, players from within the bonus abuse community, and individuals looking to bypass AML processes.

He will also detail some of the consultancy’s research about the scale of the problem, which affects a huge number of slots and games studios, and costs some operators millions each year.

The session is not all doom and gloom though, as Vondervelden will share valuable information about how to detect bonus abuse and the strategies operators can adopt to counter it without adversely affecting the enjoyment of genuine players.

Stewart Darkin, managing director of CasinoBeats, said: “Bonus abuse is already a major issue for online casino operators and, with the number of exploitable slots seemingly growing, the problem has the potential to get much worse.

“The Lovelace Consultancy team are the experts in the identification of exploitable slots and helping operators to minimise their bonus abuse-related risk, so this session promises to deliver a host of useful practical information for all attendees.”
