A pair of developments bringing further growth across Europe have been unveiled by Playson, as the group secures a distribution deal with SoftSwiss and gains a Greek supplier licence.

The former will see SoftSwiss Game Aggregator gain a portfolio of more than 75 omnichannel titles, including its Timeless Fruit Slots series, as well as Crystal Land, Crystal Crush, Buffalo Power: Hold and Win, Solar Queen, and Burning Wins: Classic 5 Lines.

Michael Tadross, head of account management at Playson, said: “We’re delighted to have signed a direct content distribution deal with SoftSwiss. The new partnership is a fantastic way for us to strengthen our position in Europe and we look forward to entertaining its player base with our diverse range of games”.

SoftSwiss aggregator platform comprises more than 130 game providers, granting its clients access to over 11,000 titles, 3,000 of which support gameplay in cryptocurrencies.

“The SoftSwiss Game Aggregator team is excited to be strengthening its portfolio by directly providing access to the gaming content by Playson,” commented Nikita Keino, partner manager team lead at SoftSwiss.

“Playson is an ambitious, innovative provider which keeps actively growing, both content and geography wise which is the exact attitude we cherish here at SoftSwiss. We’re looking forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation and boosting our offering with them.”

Furthermore, following a “thorough and rigorous application process,” the casino games and software developer has received a manufacturer’s suitability licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission.

Following on from the ISO 27001 information security certification which it was recently awarded, the Greek accreditation paves the way for the supplier to sign agreements with key operators in what is lauded as “one of Europe’s fastest-growing regions”.

Andrei Andronic, general counsel at Playson, added: “We are delighted to receive a licence that ensures a continuation and expansion of our hit games within the newly regulated territory of Greece, a fast-growing market at the heart of a crucial region for Playson.

“We have an appetite for regulated markets and we are delighted to add a new license to our portfolio. This latest news demonstrates our credentials for providing the best and safest games to our partners. We’re excited to begin a new chapter in Greece and build our presence in the months ahead.”
