Leander Games has lauded the “great opportunity” that lies ahead, with the games studio making its products available to players in the Netherlands after inking a commercial tie-up with Holland Casino.

This will see the firm, which recent inked a similar such US-facing deal with Golden Nugget Online Gaming, supply a range of a range of its igaming titles to the operator.

“We’re pleased not only to be able to say our games are available to Dutch citizens but also to be adding such a prestigious name to our roster of clients,” stated Steven Matsell, CEO at Leander Games.

“This is a great opportunity to showcase our offering and given players in the Netherlands a sight of our hugely successful suite of games.”

Under the terms of the deal, games now available on the Holland Casino site include Fortune Teller’s Charm, Pearls of Poseidon, Chilli con Carnage, Wild West Zone, Diamond Blast Zone, Tomb of Mirrors, Cash Encounters, A Pirate’s Quest and Ways of the Labyrinth.

“We’re delighted to be working with Leander,” added Jeroen Verkroost Holland Casino digital director. “They offer a great range of great content to several regulated markets, and their games will definitely excite our player base.”

Last year, the Kansspelautoriteit, the Netherlands gambling authority, granted an online gambling licence to Joi Gaming, which became the 11th licensed incumbent of the country’s gambling ecosystem.

This followed the first ten entrants that will be permitted to operate upon the long awaited opening of the country’s legalised online gambling market from midnight on Friday 1 October.

This saw Holland Casino joined by the Toto Online brand of Nederlandse Loterij; Dutch arcade group FPO Netherlands; and NSUS Malta, which counts GGPoker as part of its stable; in gaining approvals.

Further entrants included Estonia’s Play North, operator of the Rocket Casino and Pikakasino brands, bingo operator Tombola, bet365; Belgian brand Bingoal, Italy’s Betent; and LiveScore Malta.
