A “fantastic partnership” has been praised by Betsson, after the online gambling group enhanced its alliance with Wazdan through the addition of the studio’s Russian language games to the newly launched Betsafe.lt website.

Betsson, which says that it created a Russian-language website aimed at Lithuanian customers, will now see 80 Wazdan games, which are already certified in the country, become available at Betsafe.lt in Russian in a bid to further attract players in the region.

“We’ve enjoyed a fantastic partnership with Wazdan since our first deal in 2020 and their portfolio has gone from strength to strength,” noted Kaido Ulejev, commercial director CEECA at Betsson Group.

“Our Betsafe brand is celebrating its 16th birthday this month and we believe Wazdan games can add real value to our newly launched Russian-language website. We look forward to seeing how the localised games are received in Lithuania by our customers.”

In 2022, 19 new Wazdan titles have already been added to the Betsafe.lt website, four of which, including Power of Gods: Hades, are exclusively available to the brand in the country.

The online casino content developer’s games also offer customisable features, such as volatility levels, and are available in 25 languages, as well as supporting all currencies and cryptocurrencies with an aim of adding a level of personalisation to gaming experiences.

“We have a very close working relationship with Betsson and we’re delighted to be taking our portfolio live on their Russian-language Betsafe.lt site,” said Andrzej Hyla, chief commercial officer at Wazdan.

“It has been an extremely strong start to the year for us and we’re delighted to keep our momentum going with this expansion.”

Earlier this month, an ambition of entering regulated or regulating markets “where the conditions are right and there is plenty of growth to be unlocked” was stressed by Betsson, as the group detailed the importance of geographical expansion within its growth strategy.

Speaking in the aftermath of scooping the Casino Operator of the Year gong at December’s SBC Awards, Jesper Svensson, CEO of Betsson, disclosed the online operator’s ambitions across the Americas as well as its Dutch market hopes.
