United Center FanDuel

FanDuel has detailed a strategic expansion of ongoing partnerships with Chicago’s Bulls and Blackhawks, which will deliver a branded sportsbook inside the United Center home of both franchises.

Pending necessary approvals being obtained, including from the Illinois Gaming Board, the Windy City will become the location of the gaming and sports betting operators latest in-arena lounge.

“As an industry leader in sports betting with a large and loyal existing customer base, FanDuel has a proven track record of innovation and excellence making them the perfect partner in developing the sportsbook at the United Center,” said Howard Pizer, executive vice president and chief executive officer of United Center Joint Venture

“It is designed to give sports fans a brand new, fully immersive sportsbook lounge experience unlike any other.”

While awaiting approvals for the two-story venue, the United Center and FanDuel will build a non-wagering space adjacent to the United Center atrium that will feature company branding and allow fans to watch live sports action while attending events.

“Chicago sports fans are some of the most loyal and passionate in the world and plans for our sportsbook lounge inside the United Center reflect their excitement,” added Amy Howe, CEO of FanDuel Group

“Our team has a track record of delivering incredible retail locations for fans, and we can’t wait to make this sportsbook lounge the premier destination for Chicago sports fans and a place where they can fully experience the FanDuel brand.”

Last month, FanDuel become one the maiden incumbents of New York’s online sports betting system, after launching alongside Caesars, DraftKings, and Rush Street Interactive, on the first day of operation from no earlier than 9am on Saturday 8 January.

The record setting Empire State had subsequently welcomed further debuts from both PointsBet and MGM Resorts International and Entain’s BetMGM joint venture, with Bally’s, Wynn, and Resorts World, still waiting in the wings.
