International Game Technology has enhanced its presence within Washington state, after securing a multi-year agreement with the Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority.
Under the terms of the agreement with the instrumentality of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, which owns and operates Kalispel Casino, IGT’s PlaySports technology and trading advisory services will power the venues soon-to-open retail sportsbook. PlaySports is deployed at more than 60 gaming venues across the US.
“We’re excited to roll out sports betting for our guests at Kalispel Casino,” said Kevin Zenishek, Northern Quest Resort & Casino and Kalispel Casino Executive Director of Casino Operations.
“It has already proven to be a fantastic new amenity at Northern Quest and we know it will be popular at our Kalispel Casino as well.”
This is IGT’s second sports betting venture in Washington State with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, after deploying the aforementioned tech and services at its Turf Club Sportsbook in Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights in December 2021.
Furthermore, the company’s wagering depth within the region also stretches to Washington’s Snoqualmie Casino and the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians’ Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort.
