Wazdan has become the latest company to enter the newly-formed Ontario igaming market after the casino supplier received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

This approval will see the company supply its games to operators within the province and marks the 20th regulated market entry for Wazdan.

“We’re hugely excited to be a part of this newly regulated igaming market,” noted Michal Imiolek, CEO at Wazdan. “Ontario promises to be one of the biggest markets in North America and this move adds massively to our growing foothold in the region.

“We’re sure that operators throughout the province will benefit enormously from all we have to offer.”

Strengthening its standing in North America, after previously securing licences in the US states of Michigan, New Jersey, and West Virginia, the entry into Ontario follows on from the igaming markets launch on April 4, concluding a process that commenced in 2019.

As aforementioned, Wazdan previously launched in Michigan after the casino supplier gained the green-light in Michigan in March.

The receipt of the licence will allow the provider to bring its array of slots to the regulated state, following similar legislative recognition in the US for New Jersey and West Virginia.
