Gateway Casinos & Entertainment had added to its gaming roster after hosting a grand opening of the Cascades Casino Delta yesterday (Thursday 29 September).
The facility, which represents an investment of C$99.2m as well as the creation of a swathe of employment opportunities, saw a host of festivities take place throughout the property.
“I would like to congratulate Gateway Casinos and Entertainment on the grand opening of Cascades Casino Delta,” noted Mayor George Harvie, City of Delta.
“Gateway’s investment in this new entertainment destination has created hundreds of new jobs that support the growth of our local economy and tourism. We look forward to working with Gateway in their role as a new member of our business community.”
Cascades features 500 slots, 18 table games and stadium-style gaming, as well as signature restaurants such as the Match Eatery & Public House and the Buffet and a 5,000 square foot ballroom that converts into three separate conference spaces.

The firm’s Delta complex becomes the latest Cascades entity for the group, with properties also available in Chatham and North Bay, Ontario, and Langley, Kamloops and Penticton, British Columbia.
