Novomatic Digital division Greentube has bolstered its tech offering after securing a majority shareholder position in Alteatec.
A Malta-based tech supplier, Alteatec can offer Greentube Austria its igaming management system and platform provider, Olympus One.
Georg Gubo, COO at Greentube, commented: “It’s incredibly satisfying watching the business grow, especially when we’re bringing in some of the best talent from around the world via this acquisition. Alteatec’s technology will rapidly increase our overall output, taking us to the next level.”
Olympus One will allow Greentube to enhance future releases using bonus engines, duel tournaments and other gamification features. The tech firm’s latest land-based connection and partner modules are also suggested to “connect the online world with arcades and casinos”.
Thomas Graf, CEO at Greentube, stated: “I am delighted to start 2023 in such momentous fashion. Alteatec is a market-leader in igaming technology and being able to utilise its talented and experienced team is going to be game changing for Greentube going forward.”
With this acquisition, Graf and Gubo will become Managing Directors of Alteatec, alongside current MD, Christian Sael.
“Greentube is a company that needs no introduction, so to become part of that storied brand truly is an honour,” Sael added.
“We’re all incredibly excited about this partnership and we can’t wait to get to work, delivering all the services we’re recognised for in order to help the company grow.”
This move continues a heavily tech-focused start to the year for the igaming supplier, after already launching Greentube Mynt, a “state of the art” tech stack, last week.
