Boldplay: Romanian certification ‘another significant step’

Boldplay has added a second certification of the year, with a Romanian regulatory green-light bringing about much excitement at the online casino games provider.

Speaking of the company’s latest licensing, which came after the country’s regulator, the ONJN, permitted the firm to offer its services at all online platforms licensed in the country, Boldplay has praised “another significant step” and “key part of our future expansion plans”.

As a result of the certification, Boldplay is now positioned for entry into the European jurisdiction, where it will offer operator a burgeoning content suite that comprises more than 80 slots, table games, bingo/keno and scratch cards options.

Following the recent “ambitious releases” of Cyborg City and Warriors & Warlocks, this development follows January’s approval from the Gibraltar Licensing Authority.

The company’s second market licence acquisition in as many months now sits alongside previous game certifications in the UK, Malta, Portugal and Isle of Man.

Valli Fragoso, CEO of Boldplay, has praised the news as opening “a lot of doors for the company when it comes to finding new potential partners in Romania,” following recent alliances with games aggregator such as Games Global, Slotegrator and EveryMatrix.

“Boldplay’s acquisition of a Romanian gaming licence from the ONJN is another significant step for our company and a key part of our future expansion plans,” she stated.

“Sitting alongside our existing licensing from the GLA, this latest certification will enable us to forge new relationships with regulated operators and allow us to introduce our games in what is an exciting and rapidly developing market.”
