Kambi partners with WarHorse Gaming on Nebraska’s first sportsbook

Kambi has teamed-up with WarHorse Gaming, a division of Ho-Chunk and a commercial entity regulated by the Nebraska Racing Gaming Commission, to launch the first sportsbook in the Cornhusker State.

The long-term association, which sees the sports betting solutions provider swell its US footprint further still, will see an initial launch occur at WarHorse Casino Lincoln in the coming weeks.

This property’s phased opening began when a temporary entity debuted last year, with a second phase, which will ramp-up the gaming options, food and beverage outlets and include a hotel, slated for September.

This will be followed by an additional launch at WarHorse Casino Omaha in 2024, where an anticipated 18 months of construction that will deliver a casino with more than 1,200 slots machines, 20 table games, sportsbook and both live and simulcast horse racing, was kick started in September 2022.

Lance Morgan, Chief Executive Officer of Ho-Chunk, said: “WarHorse is excited to partner with Kambi to launch Nebraska’s first sportsbook. Kambi’s industry-leading platform will enhance the gaming experience WarHorse offers for our guests.”

The Kambi sportsbook at WarHorse Casino Lincoln will complement 400 slot machines, which will swell in approximately 1,100 under the aforementioned phase two, along with simulcast and live thoroughbred racing.

In addition, both of the aforementioned gaming establishments will feature Kambi’s on-property sportsbook technology, including the Kambi kiosk, Bring Your Own Device technology and Bet Builder product.

“We are delighted to sign this partnership with WarHorse Gaming to provide leading on-property sports betting solutions to the operator’s properties in the state of Nebraska,” stated Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and Co-Founder.

“As sports betting continues to expand across the US, we are proud to launch the first sportsbook in Nebraska and to power another market-first for one of our partners.”
