Casino games provider Platipus is expanding across several regulated markets thanks to a distribution partnership with IGT PlayDigital.

Through the deal, Platipus’ portfolio of over 80 slots and table games will initially be made available to operators across the Baltics, Romania, Croatia and Italy via IGT PlayDigital’s global network.

Stanislav Mykhailov, Head of Sales at Platipus, commented: “IGT PlayDigital has already become the industry’s benchmark of success.

“With the team of experts and the company’s wide distribution network, we believe this cooperation will both bring new opportunities to Platipus and empower IGT PlayDigital’s product portfolio. We are more than excited to get started and show what we can really do together.”

Later in the second quarter, four more markets will be added to the deal with more than 30 additional games from Platipus included in the partnership.

“IGT PlayDigital is always looking to expand our offering and this agreement with Platipus allows us to deliver new, high-quality games to our customers,” added Gil Rotem, IGT President of Igaming.

“IGT PlayDigital content is a key component of our customers’ portfolios and we expect their players will enjoy premier gaming experiences with our enhanced game library.”

Back in March, IGT CEO Vince Sadusky explained how double-digit revenue growth for PlayDigital will be achieved in 2023, emphasising an engaging platform and games and the importance of the North American market.

Meanwhile, during the same month, Platipus signed an agreement with Hub 88 to further grow distribution channels.
