Caesars Entertainment has added mobile sports wagering in Puerto Rico in a move that complements a retail sportsbook debut at Casino Metro during December 2022.
In a move that replicated a pair of firsts that have been previously detailed by BetMGM, players can access the Caesars Sportsbook via apps or desktop, however, registrations must be finalised in person at the gaming property.
“The launch of our mobile sports wagering platform is an excellent complement to the elevated experience we’ve provided customers at MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook at Casino Metro,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.
“We’d like to thank our partners and the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission for making our sportsbook available throughout all of Puerto Rico and we’re confident customers will enjoy an experience they can’t find anywhere else.”
In addition to providing access from anywhere in Puerto Rico, customers will also be able to utilise the Caesars rewards program when utilising the sportsbook offering.
This will provide players with tier credits for each bet placed, which can ultimately be redeemed for exclusive experiences and discounted getaways at various Caesars destinations.

The MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook land-based venue features three betting windows, 14 self-service betting kiosks, more than 25 LED TVs, and odds boards at the San Juan-based venue.
The wider property stands at 23,000 square feet, and features 19 gaming tables and 547 slots. A 2023 expansion will bring the square footage to 30,000 of gaming space, along with over 25 table games and over 650 slot machines.
