Gaming Realms has received a supplier licence in Sweden, giving the company permission to continue providing mobile-focused gaming content in the country’s market.

The supplier has been present in Sweden since 2019, partnering with several brands in the country over the years.

However, since the market’s new regulation came into force on July 1, all gaming businesses must have a licence with Spelinspektionen, the Swedish Gambling Authority, to operate in the Nordic country.

With the supplier licence from Spelinspektionen, Gaming Realms can continue to provide its gaming content portfolio to licenced operators and platforms in Sweden.

Commenting on the licence, Kat Black, Group Compliance Director at Gaming Realms, said: “The Swedish market is of great importance for us and it was a no-brainer to apply for the new supplier licence which will allow us to continue to supply our products in the country.

“We are committed to compliance and a safe market for players and we look forward to continuing to offer great entertainment to operators and their players in Sweden.”

Recently, Gaming Realms has been growing its market presence in Spain, agreeing to content deals with SkillOnNet and GoldenPark in the country.
