IGT has supplied retail sports betting to another casino after announcing a partnership with Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Through the deal, IGT PlaySports technology will power the CONTACT Sports and Race Book at the Palace Casino Resort, providing a variety of ways for customers to place their bets. The casino will also be able to utilise the provider’s trading advisory team.
Inside the sportsbook, pre-game and in-play wagers can be placed by customers at one of the location’s four walk-up betting windows or at a self-service betting kiosk.
Keith Crosby, General Manager of Palace Casino Resort, commented: “Elevating the CONTACT Sports and Race Book with IGT PlaySports technology and services positions us for continued growth and supports our mission of delivering high-quality gaming experiences to our Palace Casino Resort guests.
“With football season just two months away, we could not be more excited for the sportsbook offering that we’ve created in partnership with IGT, and we’re confident it will bring incremental visitation and excitement to Palace Casino Resort.”
Once all regulatory requirements have been met, Palace Casino Resort will also bring on-premise mobile sports betting to the CONTACT Sports and Race Book, all to be powered by IGT PlaySports technology.
“IGT PlaySports has a successful track record in powering sportsbooks across Mississippi, and we’re excited to extend that momentum with Palace Casino Resort in advance of the fall sports calendar,” added Joe Asher, IGT President of Sports Betting.
“We look forward to working with Palace Casino Resort to maximise player acquisition and engagement opportunities and reap the many benefits of an IGT PlaySports-powered sportsbook.”
