Independent online casino games test lab RiskCherry has been granted a UK licence by the UK Gambling Commission.

With the approval, the Malta-based lab can inspect and certify video slots and associated gaming content for studios that have a licence in the UK market.

The UKGC licence is part of RiskCherry’s growth across several global markets, including 12 major regulated markets. Alongside the UK, it has authorisations in Malta, Gibraltar, Sweden, Denmark, Ontario and Spain. The lab is also seeking expansion into several US, Canadian and Latin American markets.

“Our UKGC approval marks a pivotal moment for RiskCherry as we continually expand our footprint in critical regulated markets,” commented Mihael Mladenov, COO of RiskCherry.

“By simplifying the certification process, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients scale their operations efficiently.”

RiskCherry’s streamlined certification process allows the multiple game studios it is partnered with to solely focus on content creation. Clients the lab is partnered with can utilise its high levels of automation and functionalities through its Client Portal.

The lab is accredited to industry standards including ISOs 9001:2015, 17020:2012, 17025:2017 and 27001:2013, and is actively pursuing additional ISO and local regulatory accreditations.
