Mr Vegas has strengthened its sporting ties, particularly in the Midlands area of the UK, after becoming title sponsor of the Grand Slam of Darts and Nordic Masters.
The former of the aforementioned events is being held at Aldersley Leisure Village, in wolverhampton Wolverhampton between November 11-19, and boasts former champions such as darts legend, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and last year’s victor, Michael Smith, who also won the 2023 PDC World Darts Championship.
This builds upon another sporting alliance recently secured by the operator in recent times, after being named as an official casino partner of West Bromwich Albion in August.
In addition, the Nordic Masters is scheduled for June 2024 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Both events are televised live, with complete coverage of the finals being broadcast in the UK and several other countries.
Matthew Porter, Chief Executive of the PDC, noted: “Mr Vegas is one of the casino industry’s up-and-coming operators and we are delighted that they will be sponsoring two of the best PDC events in the calendar in a multi-year exclusive partnership. We look forward to seeing the Mr Vegas brand up in lights in Wolverhampton.”
As a result of the multi-year tie-up with the Professional Darts Corporation, the Videoslots igaming brand is also slated to host a series of ‘Mr Vegas Darts Nights’ across the UK to connect players and fans with legends of the sport.
As a result of this latest partnership, Mr Vegas has stressed an ongoing ambition of heightening its visibility in the UK and the Nordics, in addition to aiming to became “one of the most beloved and approachable casino brands”.
“This partnership comes at the right time for us, and to be the title sponsor at two of the biggest darts events in the world is a huge opportunity for Mr Vegas,” stated Ulle Skottling, Deputy CEO at Mr Vegas.
“We believe our brand has a great connection with the sport, bringing ‘that Vegas feeling’ to darts and are thrilled to see Mr Vegas associated with the sport on a global scale.”
