The Philadelphia Eagles face the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN.

The Eagles (8-4 SU, 7-5 ATS) will try to snap a two-game losing streak. The Chargers (8-4 SU, 5-6-1 ATS) have won four of their last five games, but still trail Denver (11-2) in the AFC West.

DraftKings is dealing the Eagles as a 2.5-point road favorite with a total of 41.5 as of this writing, with 73% of spread handle and tickets on Philadelphia.

Best Bet Eagles vs. Chargers: Against the Spread

Eagles -2.5 (-105)

The last time we picked the Eagles in an MNF betting preview, they came through with the outright victory over the Packers. Philadelphia badly needs a victory tonight to prevent a free fall from the top of the NFC East standings. The Eagles are coming off a 24-15 home loss to the Bears on Black Friday.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley has been noticeably quiet over the last month, failing to record a TD during all of November. The Chargers have a capable pass defense, and Philadelphia needs Barkley to gash LA with the run. Expect more designed runs from Jalen Hurts, too.

That’ll open up the passing game, which has seen WR AJ Brown go for 100+ receiving yards in back-to-back games. He’s scored three TDs over that span, as well.

The Chargers get a key cog back with the return of RB Omarion Hampton, who’s been sidelined with an ankle injury. The Philly defense allowed Chicago RBs D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monagai to run wild for 255 yards and two touchdowns last time out. The Eagles will be without their most dominant front piece in Jalen Carter, who’s dealing with shoulder injuries.

The bigger story for LA involves QB Justin Herbert’s injury. Herbert broke a bone in his non-throwing hand last week against Las Vegas. After surgery this week, Herbert was limited in practice. That’s a big question mark heading into MNF. Trey Lance could be called on again as the backup.

We’re taking the Eagles to bounce back and laying the small number tonight.

Best Player Prop Bet for Philadelphia

Jalen Hurts ATTD Scorer (+100 at DraftKings)

Hurts leads the Eagles with eight rushing touchdowns. Among all quarterbacks, only Buffalo’s Josh Allen has more (12).

Hurts has scored in two of the last three games. Whether he breaks off a long run or finds the end zone via the tush-push, Hurts is a great bet as an anytime touchdown scorer tonight.

Omarion Hampton OVER 42.5 Rushing Yards (-114 at DraftKings)

Prior to getting hurt in Week 5, Hampton had eclipsed this number in four of five games. The rookie first-round pick out of North Carolina is back to full strength and is expected to command a major workload as RB1.

We mentioned Philadelphia’s rush defense being exposed by Chicago’s backfield duo last week. Given the uncertainty surrounding Herbert, expect the Chargers to lean even more on the running game tonight, too.
