Las Vegas headquartered developer, manufacturer and supplier of casino games, systems and technology AGS has unveiled further expansion, as the firm enters the Pennsylvania slot market for the first time.
Entering into agreement with Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment’s Parx Casino, located in the Philadelphia suburb of Bensalem, the company has proceeded with its first game placements at the property.
Debuting its full range of slot produces, including its range of Orion cabinets alongside the range of game titles on the Parx casino floor last week, the company stresses that more are slated to debut across the state over the next several months.
Andrew Burke, senior vice president of slot products at AGS, commented: “We are excited about entering the robust Pennsylvania market and honoured to do so at Parx Casino, a state-of-the-art property that attracts players from greater Philadelphia, the sixth largest metropolitan area in the US with more than six million residents.
Finer details of the Pennsylvania entry sees AGS launch its Orion Portrait, Orion Slant, Icon and Big Red slot cabinets, alongside an array of titles, including Fu Nan Fu Nu, Jade Wins, Olympus Strikes, Golden Wins and Colossal Stars.
Marc Oppenheimer, chief marketing officer of Greenwood Gaming, added: “We are honoured that AGS chose Parx Casino as its launch partner in Pennsylvania. We have been eager to add AGS’ entertaining games to our slot floor, and offer our players the high-volatility excitement that AGS games are recognised for, with slot enthusiasts’ favourite features, such as progressive jackpots and free games.”
Last month AGS entered a “major contract renewal” alongside Oklahoma’s Chickasaw Nation, which sees an expansion to represent its largest ever deal alongside the tribe.
This saw the Chickasaw Nation secure an installed base of approximately 3,200 recurring revenue games, across the tribal gaming operator’s 22 casinos in the Sooner State.
