Italian football club AS Roma has introduced a new official partnership with Asia focused online betting and gaming brand AllWinCity, which operates the AWCBET.com portal.
The agreement will see the entity become the club’s official Asian regional betting partner, and will work with the Stadio Olimpico-based outfit across the region’s countries to launch customised marketing campaigns.
Under the terms of the deal further development will be seen through multiple strategic tools, as both parties strive to achieve important milestones together in the Asian market.
This includes the use of the AS Roma brand and images to promote the platform on digital and other media, as well as developing further activities dedicated to all sports fans.
“We are proud to announce this partnership, the second agreement signed with a leading brand in Asia over the last few years,” noted Francesco Calvo, chief revenue officer at AS Roma.
“This is an agreement that confirms, once again, the club’s strategic development objectives – with a particular focus on important markets like Asia.”
AllWinCity is a fully-licensed Asian online entertainment brand, offering wide-range features, such as sport betting, live dealers, slots, poker, sports games, lottery, multiplayer online games and other online casino titles.
Andrew Wong, brand director at AWCBET.com, added: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with AS Roma. I believe this partnership will create a new journey as a premium brand for all of our fans, and it will be a great adventure for us.”
AS Roma got off to a stuttering start to the new season this past weekend, as goals from Cengiz Ünder, Edin Džeko and Aleksandar Kolarov gave the team the lead three times before Genoa hit back on each occasion to earn a draw.
Next up is a capital city derby as Roma take on a Lazio side, with whom they share a stadium, off the back of a 3-0 opening away day victory over Sampdoria.
